US Lacrosse
US Lacrosse is the national non-profit governing body for the sport of lacrosse. It is an extensive organization that oversees national tournaments, puts on the annual national convention in January, published Lacrosse Magazine, supports chapters and programs with grants and provides it's members with blanket insurance that covers all lacrosse related activities. Many camps and leagues require its participants be members of US Lacrosse for insurance reasons.
The NCJLA requires all participants to be members. Our club follows this rule and looks up each player's US Lacrosse membership before each season. All players need to have a US Lacrosse membership number that is valid through May of the season in play and is required to provide that number to the club during registration.
US Lacrosse provides it's members with insurance coverage for practices, games, leagues, and clinics. They also send the monthly Lacrosse Magazine to each member and offer discounts on training material and lacrosse clothing.
Visit the US Lacrosse web site at for more information. You can register, renew, or look up your US Lacrosse membership ID if you need to.
