Registering with the Club

Teams and Dues

If you are a player coming from another program or outside the immediate Santa Rosa area, please read our board position on this HERE.

Registration for 2012 will open October 21 until filled. We will make decisions on which teams to offer by the end of November when we must commit to the league. Dues for the 2012 season will be:

Registration Icon U11 (DOB 9/1/2000 - 8/31/2002)- $225
U13 (DOB 9/1/1998 - 8/31/2000)- $275
U15 (9/1/1996 - 8/31/1998, and not in 9th grade)- $275
JV (9th-11th Grades)- $275 CANCELED
Varsity (9th-12th Grades- $325

If firm commitments are not made by players for a full team by the late November, a team may not be entered into the league and the team will be dropped. You have the option of registering online and paying a deposit. The balance of your registration will be charged on your credit card in February, once the season starts. Deposits will not be refunded for players registering for established teams.

There will be a cap on registration for each team and a waiting list will be established. The SRLC would like all players to register online so that waivers and contact information can be automated. In the event we have multiple teams at one age level, we'll use player evaluations to place players.

Registration:

  1. US Lacrosse: Make sure you have a current membership that is valid through June 2012. US Lacrosse is the national governing body for lacrosse which provides Lacrosse Magazine each month and club insurance. This is required to play (please do before registering for club).
  2. Club Registration: Sportability

General

Lacrosse season is in the spring. Practices start in late January/early February with games starting in late February. The regular season runs through May for most teams. Team dues for 2012 are $325 for Varsity, $275 for players at U13 through JV, and $225 for U11. This does not include equipment or membership in US Lacrosse, a requirement of our league. Players must register with US Lacrosse or renew their membership and provide their US Lacrosse number during registration. Information on how to do this is above.

If you are just beginning you will need to buy your own equipment. Refer to the Equipment page for more information.

Since the club is not school affiliated there are no physical or GPA requirements.
